AI Assistants
Handle routine work with one request
Through the Model Context Protocol (MCP), you connect your AI assistant to Erdikon. It works with the same data and functions you use in the interface and can only do what you allow.
Free for up to two users. No credit card required.
Tasks for your assistant
Get an overview
Ask about open quotes, overdue invoices, or all documents for a customer. Your assistant reads the documents including their PDFs and summarizes what you want to know.
Create quotes & invoices
Your assistant creates quotes and draft invoices, adds line items from your master data, and converts accepted quotes into invoices.
Keep payments up to date
Your assistant records incoming payments, refunds, and credit notes directly on the matching invoice. Give it a bank statement, and it matches the payments to your open invoices.
Send documents
Your assistant prepares the email with your template and sends quotes and invoices to your customers.
Several steps in one request
Your assistant does more than run single commands. It gathers the data it needs, plans the steps, and completes them one after another. A short request turns into an issued invoice in your customer's inbox.
Behind the scenes, it uses the same functions as the interface. The same rules and checks therefore apply to your assistant as to you.
Example requests
«Convert the accepted quote for Example Ltd. into an invoice and send it by email.»
«Record the payments from this bank statement on the matching invoices.»
Free choice of assistant
Open standard
Erdikon uses the Model Context Protocol. You can connect any AI assistant that supports MCP and switch whenever you like.
No built-in AI
Erdikon itself does not pass any data to AI providers. Your assistant only receives what it requests for your task.
Self-hosting too
If you run Erdikon yourself, you connect your assistant to your own installation.
Included in the Free plan
The connection costs nothing extra and is available in all plans.
Control over access
For each assistant, you create separate MCP credentials for one Space. By default, it can only read. If it should also create drafts, record payments, or send documents, you grant write access explicitly.
The assistant acts with your permissions. Erdikon records its changes under your account, and you can revoke access at any time.
How you stay in control
- Access per Space
- Read-only by default
- Same permissions as in the interface
- Changes traceable to your account
- Revocable at any time
Frequently asked questions
Which AI assistants can I connect?
Any assistant that supports MCP and can sign in with an access token. Assistants that only offer a browser sign-in for MCP connections cannot be connected.
Who processes the data my assistant retrieves?
Whatever your assistant retrieves from Erdikon is processed by the assistant's provider under its own terms. Check whether its privacy policy suits your business.
Can my assistant send invoices without asking?
With write access, it can issue invoices and send them by email. Whether it asks you for confirmation first depends on your assistant and its settings. As in the interface, issuing an invoice cannot be undone.
How long does access stay valid?
Until you revoke it or your access to the Space ends. Revoked access stops working immediately. To change the Space or the access mode, you create new credentials and revoke the old ones.
In all applications
Every Erdikon application also makes its functions available to AI assistants. One credential covers everything available in the Space.
